Small plate – Glacier series

This small handmade plate can be used for serving appetizer, breakfast, or dessert.

It is part of a larger set of pieces, a series I call Glacier. This series was inspired by my travels through South Iceland of New Zealand. The unique scenery with its rocks, glaciers and glacial lakes was covered in snow and ice. I tried to express the mood of the landscape by giving this series similar black, blue and earthy colours. The pictures reveal Tasman Glacier – which is the largest glacier in NZ.
