Extra-extra-large decorative bowl – Frozen series

This extra-extra-large ceramic bowl is perfect as a piece of decoration.

It is part of a larger set of pieces, a series I call Frozen. This series was inspired by my travels through Iceland and the south of New Zealand. The unique scenery with its volcanic rocks, glaciers and glacial lakes was covered in snow and ice. I tried to express my melancholic mood at the time by giving this series similar white, blue and earthy colours. The ice of the scenery is expressed by crushed pieces of glass.
