Extra-small plate – Cherry Blossom series

This extra-small handmade plate can be used for serving appetizers, or desserts. It is part of a larger set of pieces, a series I call Cherry Blossom. My travels to Japan during the cherry blossom season sakura are at the basis of this series. The season stands for the beginning of spring and the flowers symbolise love and good luck. The different shades of pink in these pieces reflect my impressions of this beautiful phenomenon.
