This ceramic goblet can be used for serving hot drinks, like coffee, tea, matcha but you can use it to serve food, like sauces, a handful of berries, or nuts as well. Some people treat it as a tealight holder.
It is part of a larger set of pieces, a series I call Rusty. The Japanese concept of wabi-sabi inspired me to create this series of rather rough and irregular pieces. When I was in Kyoto, I could experience how the Japanese manage to find beauty in imperfection, corrosion, decay. You can find beautiful things everywhere. All you need to do is look for it.
If you want to create a larger set you may look for the same series pieces or use your imagination and create your individual match.
