Medium pinched bowl – Frozen series

This handpinched bowl is perfect as a piece of decoration or can be used to serve soup or breakfast porridge – it works well as a bowl for party snacks and spreads. The bowl is made using pinch method meaning each piece is unique and one of a kind.

It is part of a larger set of pieces, a series I call Frozen. This series was inspired by my travels through Iceland. The unique scenery with its volcanic rocks, glaciers and glacial lakes was covered in snow and ice. I tried to express my melancholic mood at the time by giving this series similar white, blue and earthy colours. The ice of the scenery is expressed by crushed pieces of glass.

If you want to create a larger set you may look for the same series pieces or use your imagination and create your individual match.

The bowl has tiny crack at the top edge that doesn’t affect its utility.
