Medium plate – Venice series

This handmade plate is perfect as a piece of decoration or can be used to serve food – it works well as a serving plate or for cheese, vegetables or fruit. It can be a good choice when looking for a unique housewarming party gift.

It is part of a larger set of pieces, a series I call Venice. The inspiration comes from my trip to the floating city in October 2021, when I was invited to take part in Venice Design Week. Red clay decorated with light and warm glazes reflect the colour palette of Venetian architecture.
