Small bowl – Hoppipolla series

This small stoneware bowl can be used for serving antipasti, party snacks, or nuts. The bowl is made using pinch method, meaning its shape is unique and one of a kind. It is part of a larger set of pieces, a series I call Hoppipolla. Hoppipolla is an Icelandic word meaning “jumping into puddles”. It is a metaphor of the series which was created as a result of mixing decorating techniques, using many different colours at the same time. We do sometimes feel as we were kids – playing, having fun, and not following any rules.
