Small pinched bowl – Frozen series

This small handpinched bowl can be used for serving antipasti, party snacks, soy sauce, nuts or as an incense burner. The bowl was made using pinch method meaning each piece is unique and one of a kind.

It is part of a larger set of pieces, a series I call Frozen. This series was inspired by my travels through Iceland. The unique scenery with its volcanic rocks, glaciers and glacial lakes was covered in snow and ice. I tried to express my melancholic mood at the time by giving this series similar white, blue and earthy colours. The ice of the scenery is expressed by crushed pieces of glass.
