Soy candle in a ceramic bowl – Frozen series

This hand-poured soy candle comes in a small, handmade ceramic bowl. Once the candle has been thoroughly enjoyed, the small bowl can be used for serving hot drinks, like coffee, tea, matcha but you can use it to serve food, like sauces, a handful of berries, or nuts as well. Some people treat it as a tealight holder.

It is part of a larger set of pieces, a series I call Frozen. This series was inspired by my travels through Iceland. The unique scenery with its volcanic rocks, glaciers and glacial lakes was covered in snow and ice. I tried to express my melancholic mood at the time by giving this series similar white, blue and earthy colours. The ice of the scenery is expressed by crushed pieces of glass.

If you want to create a larger set you may look for the same series pieces or use your imagination and create your individual match.
