Spice or supplements saucer – Rusty series

This extra-small handpinched plate can be used for serving spices, supplements or pills. It is part of a larger set of pieces, a series I call Rusty. The Japanese concept of wabi sabi inspired me to create this series of rather rough and irregular pieces. When I was in Kyoto, I could experience how the Japanese manage to find beauty in imperfection, corrosion, decay. You can find beautiful things everywhere. All you need to do is look for it.
