Teabowl – Savage Garden series

This handpinched stoneware teabowl can be used for serving hot drinks, like coffee, tea, matcha but you can use it to serve food, like sauces, a handful of berries, or nuts as well. It is part of a larger set of pieces, a series I call Savage Garden. It is the reflection of my love for nature. For inspiration, I think back of the lush natural beauty I admired while travelling in New Zealand, or I just have a look outside my studio, where the wild plants and flowers give me the feeling of being in a green oasis.

The glaze on the bowl poured down to the bottom, but it stands still anyway.
