Large plate – Moon series

This large handmade plate is perfect as a piece of decoration or can be used to serve food and meals such as appetizer, main course, sushi rolls, vegetable chips etc. It is part of a larger set of pieces, a series I call Moon. I created this series after my travels to Iceland. The volcanic landscapes and especially the black beach Reynisfjara gave me the inspiration to work on rough, black pieces that evoke images of volcanic rocks and even the surface of the moon.
