Set of 4 serving pieces – Hoppipolla series

This handmade set of 4 ceramic pieces is perfect as a piece of decoration or can be used to serve food – it works well for serving party meals, cheese, vegetables or fruit. It consists of 1 medium plate, 1 small plate and 2 small bowls for sauces, nuts or seasonal fruit.

It is part of a larger set of pieces, a series I call Hoppipolla. Hoppipolla is an Icelandic word meaning “jumping into puddles”. It is a metaphor of the series which was created as a result of mixing decorating techniques, using many different colours at the same time. We do sometimes feel as we were kids – playing, having fun, and not following any rules.

If you want to create a larger set you may look for the same series pieces or use your imagination and create your individual match.
